Sunyoul (선율) is a South Korean singer under Redstart ENM. He is a member of the boy group UP10TION and the leader of the project boy group WATERFIRE.

He is best known for being a contestant on the reality survival shows Mr. Trot 2 and Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor.

Career

2015: UP10TION

On September 6, 2015, Sunyoul's teaser photos for UP10TION's then upcoming debut was released. On September 10, he then debuted as a member of UP10TION with their debut mini album Top Secret.

2023: Departure from TOP Media, new agency

On February 28, 2023, it was announced that Sunyoul, along with Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bit-to, and Gyujin would be leaving TOP Media but would remain as members of the group under their current seven-member lineup.

On December 4, he announced that he has signed with Redstart ENM.

2024: Build Up, WATERFIRE

In January 2024, he was revealed as a contestant on Mnet's reality survival show Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor. In the final episode his team, WATERFIRE placed third.

On April 3, 2024, it was announced that WATERFIRE would be debuting as a project boy group under LYNNA Entertainment. They made their debut on May 30, 2024 with the single album "Possible".
