Su Ruiqi (Chinese: 苏芮琪; Korean: 수루이치; Japanese: スー·ルイチー), also known as Sury, is a Chinese singer, rapper and dancer under ETM Skies. She is a member of the Chinese girl group Chic Chili and its sub unit Chic Chili S&R.
She is best known as a former contestant on the Chinese survival shows Produce 101 China and Produce Camp 2020, and the Korean survival show, Girls Planet 999.
Career[]
2017: ETM_OrangE[]
Sometime in 2017, ETM Skies announced that they are starting activities for a pre-debut girl group going by the name of ETM_OrangE. Su Ruiqi was announced as the leader and dancer of the upcoming girl group. However, due to unknown reasons, ETM_OrangE's debut was never realized.
2018: Produce 101 China, debut with Chic Chili[]
In early 2018, Ruiqi took part on Produce 101 China. She was eliminated in Episode 9, ranking 25th overall.[1]
Later, ETM Skies announced that Ruiqi would debut as a member of Chic Chili. On September 30, 2018, Chic Chili debuted with their first self-titled EP.
2019: Solo debut[]
She made her solo debut with her first self-written and composed single "At Chengdu", which was released on August 27, 2019.
2020–present: Produce Camp 2020, Girls Planet 999[]
In 2020, it was announced that Ruiqi would take part on Produce Camp 2020. In the first episode she was introduced as one of the Produce 101 China returnees alongside Lin Junyi and Wang Yiqiao. In the finale episode, her final rank was 11th overall, thus eliminated from the competition.[2]
On May 21, 2021, it was reported that Ruiqi will take part on the upcoming South Korean survival show Girls Planet 999 as part of the contestant pool of Chinese trainees and is also the sole contestant from ETM Skies. The show aired between August 6 and October 22. She was unfortunately eliminated during the finale, ranking C03.
