Background

On April 4, 2024, it was reported that Zico will be releasing a new song for his 10th anniversary which will features Jennie. It was later confirmed that Zico is preparing for an April comeback. On April 18, KOZ Entertainment confirmed that Zico would be releasing his eleventh digital single on April 26.

Commercial performance

"Spot!" reached #1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in 31 regions, as well as #1 on the Melon's Top 100, Bugs' and Genie's realtime charts in South Korea.
