Sphaze (스페이즈) was a five-member boy group under Oort Ent. They made their debut on September 30, 2024 with their single album "Starlight".

They disbanded on October 1, 2025.

Their name is short for "Special Phaze".

History[]

Pre-debut[]

On June 16, 2023, Oort Ent opened up SNS accounts for their upcoming virtual boy group Oort Boys.^[1] From June 20 to August 8, the five members were revealed, beginning with Ma Daehyeop,^[2] followed by Do Minseong,^[3] Seo Tale,^[4] Nithan,^[5] and Frederic, ^[6] respectively.

On July 30, 2024, Oort Ent revealed the name of the group to be Sphaze.^[7]

2024: Debut with "Starlight"[]

On August 30, 2024, the group announced they would debut with their first single album, "Starlight" on September 30.^[8]

2025: "Right Away", disbandment[]

On May 12, 2025, the group announced their first digital single, "Right Away", set to be released on May 25.^[9]

On October 1, the group disbanded following the end of Nithan, Frederic and Ma Daehyeop's contracts with Oort Ent. Do Minseong and Seo Tale will continue their individual activities with the company.^[10]
