Soyeon (소연) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under Chess International. She is a member of the girl group LABOUM and the project group WSG Wannabe.
She is also known for participating in the survival show Girls On Fire.
She made her solo debut on March 29, 2024 with the digital single "Goodbye".
Career[]
2014: Debut with LABOUM[]
She debuted as a member of LABOUM on August 28, 2014 with the group's first single "Petit Macaron".
2022: WSG Wannabe[]
In May 2022 she joined the cast of MBC's How Do You Play? and subsequently debuted as part of the project group WSG Wannabe on July 16.[1][2]
2024: Girls On Fire, solo debut with "Goodbye"[]
On February 26, 2024, Soyeon was identified as a contestant on JTBC's upcoming female vocal survival show Girls On Fire.[3] She was eliminated during the first round of the show.
On March 13, news outlet ET News reported that Soyeon is preparing to make her solo debut on March 29.[4] Hours later, KH Company confirmed that she will be making her debut with the digital single "Goodbye" on March 29.[5]
