Sound Republica was founded in February 23, 2018, based upon JB Contents Group Co., Ltd., the Korean representative office of Abbey Road Studios in the United Kingdom and Metropolis Korea Co., Ltd., the Korean subsidiary of Metropolis Music Group in the same country.[2]
