Soobin (수빈) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and MC under BigHit Music. He is the leader of the boy group TXT.
He is also a member of the fictional boy group HI-BOYZ under the name D.I.
Career[]
2019: Debut with TXT[]
On January 13, Soobin was revealed as the second member of Big Hit Entertainment's newest boy group TXT.[2] He made his official debut with the group on March 4, 2019 with their debut mini album, The Dream Chapter: Star.
2020–2021: Music Bank[]
On July 20, 2020, it was announced that Soobin, alongside OH MY GIRL's Arin, would be the new MCs for the KBS 2TV music show Music Bank.[3] They then hosted their first episode on the July 24th broadcast.
On October 1, 2021, Soobin and Arin hosted their last Music Bank broadcast as the MCs.[4]

Hiatus[]
On November 19, 2024, BigHit Music announced that Soobin would be going on a temporary hiatus after exhibiting signs of being unwell. Hence, he will be absent from the group's upcoming concerts and fan events in Japan and Shanghai, as well as the end-of-year ceremonies including the 2024 MAMA Awards.[5][6]
