Soo (수), also known as Sohyeon (소현), and formerly known as ANSO (안쏘) and Jerry (제리), is a South Korean singer. She is a former member of the girl groups 3piece and Tahiti.
She made her solo debut on December 25, 2019 with the digital single "Come Back Again".
Career[]
2014-2018: Tahiti[]
On June 11, 2014, she was officially introduced as a new member of the girl group Tahiti, under the stage name Jerry, with the release of the second music video teaser for their third digital single, "Oppa, You're Mine", which was later released on June 12.[1]
On July 25, 2018, Jerry announced the group's disbandment after seven years since their debut.[2]
2019-2020: Solo debut with "Come Back Again", "Paradise"[]
On December 25, 2019, she made her solo debut with the digital single "Come Back Again", under the stage name ANSO. Her second digital single "Paradise" was released on March 23, 2020.
2022-present: 3piece[]
On November 10, 2022, she was seen in photos posted by Kimi on Instagram featuring a new girl group with hashtags such as "#ONAIR" and "#comingsoon".[3] On November 16, she officially revealed that she would be debuting as a member of the girl group 3piece (then known as onair) using her real name Sohyeon.[4]
On July 25, 2024, SW Entertainment announced that 3piece would be releasing their debut digital single "Summer Feeling" on August 5. It was subsequently announced that Sohyeon would be known as Soo henceforth.[5]
