"Small Pond" [2] (작은 연못, Jageun yeonmot, Chakŭn yŏnmot, 작은연못, Jageunyeonmot, Chakŭnyŏnmot) or "A Small Pond" [3] or "Little Pond" [4] or "A Little Pond" [5] is a song by Yang Hee Eun, released as a track of her studio album Yang Hee Eun Gounnorae Moeum Je 2jip (양희은 고운노래 모음 제2집, Yang Hee Eun's Collection of Beautiful Songs 2, Yanghŭiŭn kounnorae moŭm Che 2chip) on 1972.
After this song, released in 1972, became a hit, Kim Min Ki also sang it about 21 years later.

This song was banned in South Korea. In 1975, it was designated as a banned song by the Performance Ethics Committee (currently the Korea Media Rating Board). There are various theories as to why. First, the small pond symbolizes 'Korean people' and the two crucian carp symbolize 'South Korea' and 'North Korea' respectively. The crucian carp that symbolizes South Korea kills the crucian carp that symbolizes North Korea, causing the water to rot, and eventually both die together, so it is said that it contains criticism of the extreme anti-communism of the military dictatorship government of 1970s.
