• Due to his parents not registering him sooner, Siwon's legal birth date is February 10, 1987.
• He is a Protestant Christian: he is very vocal and loyal towards his religion, considers Jesus Christ as his great hero, confessed that he wants to become a missionary and his most precious item is the Holy Bible.
• He is a black belt in Taekwondo (4th dan) and for a time, he was the youngest 4th dan black belt in South Korea.
• He was scouted by a talent agent in 2003 and was recommended to audition for the Starlight Casting System to be an entertainer.
