Sion (시온) is a South Korean singer and lyricist under HOMe. She is a member of the girl group Geenius and a former member of the trainee team Bebez.
She is best known for participating in Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999.
Career[]
2017: MIXNINE[]
In October 2017, Sion participated in the auditions on JTBC's new survival show MIXNINE under Mystic Entertainment. Unfortunately she did not become an official contestant.[1]
2021: Girls Planet 999[]
On July 7, 2021, Sion was confirmed as a contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[2] Her official profile was released on July 17.[3][4] The show began airing on August 6. In the fifth episode, which was aired on September 3, it was revealed that Sion, along with her cellmates, was unfortunately eliminated with her final rank being K28.[5]
2023–present: Geenius[]
On December 21, 2023, Sion was revealed as a member of the upcoming girl group Geenius.[6]
They debuted on January 5, 2024 with the single album "Voyage".
