Simon Jakops (사이먼 제이콥스), or simply JAKOPS (제이콥스), is a Korean-Japanese singer-songwriter and producer under XGALX. He is former member of boy group DMTN under the name Simon (사이먼).
He is the CEO of XGALX, the agency behind girl group XG.
Career[]
2010–2013: DMTN[]
In September 1, 2010, Simon debuted with DMTN with the digital single "Round 1" under IS Entermedia Group.
The group went on hiatus in 2013 following Daniel's marijuana drug scandal but reunited in 2020 to celebrate their 10th anniversary with the release of the digital single "Never Forget".[1][2]
2017: XGALX, XG formation[]
In 2017, Simon Jakops created his own label XGALX, where he selected members for his first girl group XG from 2017 to 2021.[citation needed]
