Sia (시아), formerly known as Sowon (소원), is a South Korean trainee. She is a former member of the girl group AZM and former pre-debut member of the girl groups Ndear and PoshGirls.
Career[]
2018-2019: AZM[]
On October 18, 2018, Sowon was introduced as one of the two newest members of AZM, along with Lok.[1] Unfortunately, she left the group in early 2019.
2021: PoshGirls[]
In July 2021, she was revealed as the third member of the pre-debut group PoshGirls. Unfortunately, she left the group before the debut for unknown reasons.
2022: Ndear[]
On June 30, 2022, the upcoming girl group Ndear and Sowon started following each other on Instagram, hinting at her addition to the group. However, the group silently disbanded sometime in July 2022.
On July 19, it was revealed that Sowon has changed her stage name to Sia.[2]
