Shoo (슈) is a Japanese-Korean actress, musical actress and former singer-songwriter and rapper. She is a former member of the girl group S.E.S.

Family[]

Shoo was born in Yokohama, Japan to ethnic Korean parents. She married basketball player, Im Hyosung on April 11, 2010 at the Seoul Renaissance Hotel. Together they have three children: son Im Yoo, born on June 23, 2010; and twin daughters Im Rayul and Im Rahee born on July 2, 2013.[citation needed]

Controversies[]

Shoo has publicly admitted that she has a gambling addiction and had 36 visits to overseas casinos in places such as Macao from August 2016 to May 2018.[1] In February 2019, she was charged with gambling and sentenced to two years of probation and 80 hours of community service. Additionally, she was ordered to pay back 346 million won (approximately $280,000) that she had borrowed for gambling.[2][3]
