Shohei (쇼헤이) is a Japanese trainee under SM Entertainment and YAMYAM Entertainment. He is a member of the upcoming trot boy group MYTRO and a former member of the avex group unit BXB.
Career[]
2017–2018: BXB[]
On October 5, 2017, he was revealed as a member of the avex group unit BXB.[3] Unfortunately, the group disbanded in 2018.[citation needed]
2022–2024: SMROOKIES[]
On July 2, 2022, Shohei, alongside Eunseok and Seunghan, were revealed as the newest members of SM Entertainment's trainee team SMROOKIES.[4]
On May 24, 2023, it was announced through a new IP (Intellectual Property Rights) video on SM Entertainment's YouTube channel that Shohei would not join NCT NEW TEAM as expected due to health reasons, but he would remain within the agency with plans to start solo activities.[5]
2024: Debut with MYTRO[]
On September 13, 2024, TV Chosun reality program Falling for a Trot-dol: Lovestruck Sisters introduced Shohei as one of the members of the upcoming project trot boy group MYTRO.[6][7]

Shohei suffered a spinal disk injury during his days in SMROOKIES that prevented him from debuting as an idol. He later was offered to join a trot group MYTRO.[6]

- He was introduced as someone with excellent rapping and DJing skills.[8]
- He and Kep1er's Hikaru are former dance colleagues: they attended the same dance academy in Fukuoka, Japan.[9]
