Shin Yeon Suh (신연서), formerly known as Hana (하나), is a South Korean singer and actress under MUE A Entertainment. She is a former member of the girl group gugudan.
Career[]
2016–2020: gugudan[]
On June 23, 2016, Hana was revealed as the first member of gugudan.[1] The group officially debuted on June 28 with their first mini album Act.1 The Little Mermaid.
On December 30, 2020, Jellyfish Entertainment announced gugudan would be disbanding on December 31 after four years together.[2]
2021-2022: FN Entertainment[]
On the 24th August 2021, a source from FN Entertainment confirmed that Hana had joined their company. She would from then on continue with her acting career, going by her birthname, Shin Bo Ra.[3]
Sometime in 2022, it was revealed that Hana had left FN Entertainment after her contract had expired after exactly a year and decided not to renew.[citation needed]
2023: New agency[]
On February 21, 2023, it was revealed that Hana had signed with newly-established agency MUE A Entertainment. She would continue her activities as an actress through the stage name Shin Yeon Suh.[4]
On March 7, news outlet EDaily revealed that she, along with former bandmate Haebin, would be releasing a duet song in the same month.[5] The single "D_Edition #Color" was released on March 21.[6]
