Seventeenth Heaven (stylized in all-caps) is the 11th mini album by SEVENTEEN. It was released on October 23, 2023 with "God of Music" serving as the album's title track.

The physical album comes in six versions: AM 5:26, PM 2:14, PM 10:13, Carat, Weverse Albums, and KiT.

Background[]

On September 20, 2023, the album's title was announced to be Seventeenth Heaven and would be released on October 23.[1]

Promotions[]

On October 19, 2023, Pledis Entertainment announced that S.Coups will be absent from most of the album's promotions to focus on recovery and rehabilitation from his leg injury.[2]

On October 26, Pledis Entertainment announced that Mingyu will be absent from the group's activities scheduled for the week due to lower back pain.[3] On October 30, Pledis released a new statement announcing that Mingyu will resume activities.[4]

Commercial performance[]

According to YG PLUS, as of October 12, Seventeenth Heaven reached 4,673,069 pre-orders, breaking their previous record.[5] It reached 5,206,718 pre-orders on October 23, making it the highest stock pre-orders of any K-pop album in history.[6]

Upon release, "God of Music" debuted at #1 on various Korean realtime music charts including Melon, Genie, and Bugs.[7]

According to Hanteo Chart, Seventeenth Heaven sold 4,629,479 copies by October 26, breaking the record for the highest first-week sales of any album in Hanteo history within four days.[8] It sold 5,091,887 copies in its first week of release.[9]

Seventeenth Heaven debuted at #1 on Oricon's album chart for the week of October 23 to 29, making SEVENTEEN the first foreign artist in Oricon history to reach #1 with 11 different albums.[7]

Seventeenth Heaven debuted at #2 on the Billboard's Top 200 Albums.[10]

The Recording Industry Association of Japan awarded Seventeenth Heaven a triple platinum certification on November 9.[11]

Seventeenth Heaven was ranked #13 on the 2024 Billboard Japan's Hot Album Year End chart.[12]
