Seulgi (슬기) is a South Korean singer and lyricist. She is the former leader of the pre-debut girl group Rendezvous.
She made her debut on February 4, 2022 with the digital single "Winter Night".
Career[]
2018–2019: Rendezvous[]
Seulgi was the third member to be revealed for the Rendezvous project in October 2018.[2] She made it into the group's final line-up, which was intended to debut on July 7, 2019.[3]
Their debut was then postponed due to line-up issues and was moved back to October 3. They released the pre-debut single "Summer Paradise" as a gift to their fans. Their debut was then postponed again to November, but fell through yet again.[4] Finally, on December 6, the group announced their disbandment.[5]
2019–present: Solo career[]
Parksal confirmed after Rendezvous' disbandment that Seulgi would be debuting as a solo artist.[5]
On July 13, 2020, Seulgi released her first solo song, "Don't Forget Me", as a pre-debut gift to her fans.
She made her official debut on February 4, 2022 with the digital single "Winter Night".
