Seowon (서원) is a South Korean singer. He is a former member of the boy group NINE.i.
He is also known for being a contestant on the reality survival shows Dancing High, Boys Planet and Boys II Planet.
Career[]
2018: Dancing High[]
In September 2018, Seowon was revealed as a contestant in KBS2 TV's dancing variety show, Dancing High. He was eventually eliminated from the competition.[2][3]
2022-2023: Debut with NINE.i and Boys Planet[]
On January 10, 2022, Seowon was introduced as a member of FirstOne Entertainment's upcoming boy group, NINE.i.[4] He made his official debut with the group on March 30 with the release of their mini album New World.
On December 6, FirstOne announced that members Winnie, Seowon, and Jiho would going on hiatus from group activities due to their individual schedules.[5] Following this hiatus announcement, he was revealed as a contestant on Boys Planet on December 29.[6] On April 13, 2023, he was eliminated in episode 11 after ranking 25th.[7]
2025: Boys II Planet, Departure from NINE.i[]
On June 12, 2025, he was introduced as a contestant on Mnet's survival show Boys II Planet as an individual trainee.[8]
On June 13, it was announced that Seowon had left NINE.i due to personal reasons.[9]
