SeolA (Korean: 설아; Chinese: 雪娥) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under Starship Entertainment and Yue Hua Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group WJSN and its sub-unit WJSN THE BLACK, and a former member of the project groups Y TEEN and WJMK.

Career

Pre-debut

In 2012, SeolA was part of the lineup for VIVA Girls, a seven-member girl group under Medialine. However, due to financial issues, the group never debuted. Other members of the group included EXY, 9MUSES' Kyungri, Dalshabet's Woohee, Stellar's Hyoeun, Hello Venus' Lime, and Kiss&Cry's Soyumi.[citation needed]

2015–2016: Debut with WJSN, Y TEEN

She was revealed as a member of WJSN on December 24, 2015 as part of the group's Sweet Unit.[1] The group officially debuted on February 25, 2016 with their first mini album Would You Like?.

On August 6, she debuted as a member of the project group Y TEEN with the single "Do Better".

2018: WJMK

On June 1, 2018, she debuted as a member of the special project group WJMK with the single "Strong".

2021: WJSN THE BLACK

On May 12, 2021, she debuted as a member of WJSN's second sub-unit, WJSN THE BLACK, with the single album "My Attitude".
