"Save Me" (지구에 혼자 남게 된다면) is the third digital single by MAMAMOO+. It was released on July 18, 2023 as the pre-release single for their first mini album Two Rabbits.
Composition[]
"Save Me" is a medium tempo R&B ballad with repetitive drum sounds, combined with the sad and lonely vocals of MAMAMOO+ to deliver deeper emotions. The lyrics, written by ONEWE's Giuk and MAMAMOO+ member Moon Byul, represent the loneliness and emptiness felt by the person who left.[1] The Korean title "지구에 혼자 남게 된다면", which translates as "If I'm left alone on Earth", was conceived by Moon Byul and pitched to Giuk as a prompt for him to write the song for the sub-unit, with Moon Byul then contributing the lyrics for her rap verse. Giuk and Moon Byul participated in composing the song in collaboration with RBW producer Jeon Dawoon.
