Mashiro (Korean: 마시로; Japanese: 舞白) is a Japanese singer under 143 Entertainment. She placed eighth on Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999, making her a member of the girl group Kep1er.
Career
2016–2018: JYP Entertainment
Mashiro became a trainee under JYP Entertainment sometime in 2016 and trained for 2 years with the label until her departure in 2018.[1]
2021–2022: Girls Planet 999, Kep1er
On May 26, 2021, 143 Entertainment revealed that Mashiro is now a trainee under their label.[2]
On July 7, Mashiro was confirmed as an upcoming contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[3] Her official profile was released on July 19.[4][5] The show began airing on August 6 and finished on October 22. During the show's finale, she was revealed to have ranked 8th overall, thus making her a member of Kep1er.
On January 3, 2022, she made her debut in the group with the release of their debut mini album First Impact.
