S the One (에스더원) was a South Korean cancelled pre-debut girl group under EC Ebenezer. They were scheduled to make their debut in the first half of 2012, but the plans fell through for unknown reasons.
They disbanded sometime in late 2012.

2012: Pre-debut activities, cancelled debut and disbandment[]
On February 20, 2012, it was reported that three former members of JQT: Jieun, Gajin and Minjeong had signed had signed exclusive contracts with EC Ebenezer to debut in their new girl group, S the One.[1] The following day, EC Ebenezer announced a partnership with Konvict Muzik to promote S the One in the U.S. music market. Two additional members, Dayoung and Yeonju, were also introduced, completing the lineup. The agency revealed plans to release the group's debut album in the U.S. in March 2012.[2]
In March, S the One announced their first showcase, held on the 16th in Japan, as part of their initial promotions before expanding into Asia, the U.S., and Europe. The group also confirmed preparations for a Korean album release in the first half of 2012.[3] During the showcase, they performed four tracks from their debut album, including "Die For Me" and "What the F".
By June 2012, S the One announced an Asian tour, scheduled to begin on July 19 in Bangkok, Thailand, with subsequent stops in Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia.[4] That same month, the group was invited to serve as the opening act for six dates of T-Pain and Qwes Kross's Welcome to My World - Promo Tour 2012-2013, starting in August.[5][6]
By late 2012, the group became inactive and was assumed to have disbanded.
Aftermath:[]
- Dayoung re-debuted in the girl group ZZBest in 2015. After their disbandment, she changed her stage name to Dain and re-debuted in Six Bomb. Since Six Bomb's disbandment, she has been working as a yoga teacher.[7]
- The remaining members have since left the entertainment industry and focused on their personal lives.
