SYNDI8 (신디에잇) is a four-member virtual girl group under Supertone. They made their debut on June 27, 2024 with the single album "MVP".

2024–present: Development and debut[]
On April 6, 2024, it was announced that HYBE-owned company Supertone had launched the AI voice replication software Supertone Shift. The technology was previously experimented with and used for artist MIDNATT in his digital single "Masquerade" in which it demonstrated a transition between his own vocals and the vocals of an AI female singer. This was replicated into several languages, all using the translation capabilities of Supertone Shift. According to Supertone and HYBE, this new tool, Supertone Shift, allows users to "immediately switch to their desired voice" from a library of ten predefined voices in real-time, with their voice analyzed for conversion "within a mere 10 seconds".[1][2][3]
On April 27, 2024, Supertone debuted their first virtual girl group SYNDI8 with the release of their debut single album "MVP". The voices of the four members were created using the technology of Supertone Shift.[4][5]

- Their group name is short for "synthetic" combined with the number 8, meant to represent the four members.
- Their group's lore states: "The members, who gathered around Nest, belong to different races in Nansy Land, where they use voice magic. Nest is the daughter of a scientist from the Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus) tribe. Canary is the daughter of a chieftain from the Canary (Serinus canaria) tribe. Raven is a hunter from the Common Raven (Corvus corax) tribe. However, Goyo is the only human in Nansy Land. Each member of SYNDI8 uses unique magic tools to perform voice magic, and their magical power is amplified when they are together."
