SSOA (쏘아) was a female duo under ALLART Entertainment. They made their debut on July 15, 2021 with the digital single "So What". They disbanded sometime in early 2022.
Their group name is a combination of the members' names, Sophia (소피아) and MOA (모아).
History[]
SSOA was formed sometime in 2021 by ALLART Entertainment with members MOA and Sophia. It is known that MOA was already working with ALLART Entertainment as a vocal coach for the girl group PIXY.
SSOA made their debut on July 15, 2021 with the digital single, "So What". The single was a fusion of Korean trot and tropical pop.[1][2] The recording and production of the song was featured on Episode 297 of the television show, My Neighbour Charles, in which Sophia was the episode's featured guest.[3][4][5]
It is uncertain at what point they disbanded as the girl group did not have any social media accounts and were not mentioned by the agency, their existence was known solely through MOA's personal social media posts and the airing of Sophia's segment on My Neighbour Charles. Though, by early 2022, ALLART Entertainment no longer listed SSOA as an artist under their agency while MOA also departed from working with ALLART and moved to BTC Entertainment.
