SPARKLING (스파클링) is a four-member fictional project boy group created for the KBS2 television drama Imitation.
History[]
2021: Debut with "Diamond"[]
On April 5, 2021, SPARKLING opened up their official Twitter account. On April 8, they then opened up their Instagram account.[1] On April 12, a group poster spoiler was revealed with the official group poster being revealed the next day, along with the date May 7, 2021.[2][3]
Despite not being an actual group, Sparkling's "debut" release is doing remarkably well: on August 28, Hanteo Chart officially announced that their first mini album "Diamond" had topped its daily physical album chart for August 27. According to Hanteo Chart, "Diamond" sold a total of 25,583 copies on August 27 alone.[4]
