SOLIA (쏠리아) was a five-member girl group under Space Music Entertainment. They debuted on August 17, 2021 with their first and only digital single "Dream".
On August 22, 2021, it was announced that the group had disbanded.[1]
The group name is an acronym for "Special Our Light Influence Artist".
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On February 2, 2021, Space Music Entertainment revealed that they will be debuting a brand new girl group later in the year.[2][3] The group's line up consisted of Suna, Eunbi, Soree, Soyeon and Hayeon.[4]
2021: Debut with "Dream" and disbandment[]
On August 17, 2021, SOLIA debuted with their first digital single, "Dream".
On August 22, the group announced that they have disbanded as the company can no longer lead the group due to its circumstances.[1] On August 26, the company clarified that these circumstances were the members all having a different idea on what their career should look like. After discussions between the company and the group, it was decided it was better to disband the group so the members could all follow their own desired path.[5]
