SMTOWN Live 2025 Tour is a joint world tour held by SM Entertainment artists (collectively known as SMTOWN). The first show was held on January 11, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea.
It celebrates SM Entertainment's 30th anniversary.
Background[]
On October 23, 2024, SM Entertainment announced that they would be celebrating their 30th anniversary with a SMTOWN concert.[1] They later announced a two-night Seoul concert on January 11 and 12 at the Gocheok Sky Dome.[2] The line-up was announced on November 15.[3]
On December 2, they announced additional dates in Mexico City, Los Angeles and Tokyo.[4][5][6]
On December 17, SM Entertainment announced that the Seoul concerts will be live-streamed through Beyond LIVE, Weverse Concert and KNTV (January 12 only).[7]
On December 23, they announced an additional date in London.[8]
On January 6, SM Entertainment announced that Red Velvet member Wendy won't attend the SMTOWN Live 2025 in Seoul due to personal reasons.[9]
On February 5, the complete lineup for the Mexico concert was revealed.[10] The complete lineup for the Los Angeles concert was revealed on February 15.[11] Kai and NCT 127 were later added to both dates.[12][13]
Through the Japanese website, the location and lineup for the Tokyo concerts were revealed.[14]
On March 19, the complete lineup for the London concert was revealed.[15] On May 29, the location for the concert was moved from the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham to The O2 Arena to provide more enhanced experience, improved accessibility, protection from weather conditions, and immersive viewing from every seat.[16] On June 18, it was announced that the concert in London will be live-streamed via Weverse Concert with re-streamings on July 2 and on July 5 via Beyond LIVE.
On July 17, it was announced that the final show in Tokyo (August 10) will be live-streamed via Beyond LIVE, Weverse Concert and KNTV.
On August 10, it was announced that two additional dates in Fukuoka, Japan, will take place on January 31 and February 1, 2026.[17] The lineup was revealed on September 5.[18]
