SÉON (세온; formerly known as ON (온)) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer under XX Entertainment. He is a member of the producing team CIELOGROOVE.
He made his solo debut on November 20, 2022 with the digital single "24/7".
He is best known for participating in the reality survival shows Produce 101 Season 2 and I-LAND under the name Seon (세온).
Career[]
2017: Produce 101 Season 2[]
In 2017, he was a contestant on Mnet's survival show Produce 101 Season 2 representing Yue Hua Entertainment. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the fifth episode and finished in 79th place.[1]
2020: I-LAND[]
On June 4, 2020, Seon was introduced as a participant in the CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment's then upcoming survival show I-LAND.[2] On the first episode, he performed "Lullaby" by GOT7 and was able to enter "I-LAND".[3] However, on the sixth episode, he was voted back to "Ground".[4] On the seventh episode, he was unfortunately eliminated from the show and was unable to participate in Part 2.[5]
2022–present: Producing endeavors, "Die For You", new agency[]
On March 14, 2022, he released his first SoundCloud exclusive, "Die For You".
On November 20, 2022, he made his solo debut with the digital single "24/7".
On August 30, 2023, he announced that he has signed with XX Entertainment.[6]
