Ryu Youngchae (류영채) is a South Korean trainee and television personality under n.CH Entertainment. She is a former member of the kids girl group CoCo.
She is also known for being a contestant on the reality show Kookmin Singer.
Career[]
2019–2021: CoCo, Kookmin Singer, media breakthrough[]
On January 28, 2019, Ryu Youngchae made her debut in the kids girl group CoCo under Fancy Factory with the release of their debut digital single "Talk Talk". On December 5, 2020, CoCo released a profile for Youngchae.[2] On June 29, 2021, CoCo announced that their contracts with all the current lineup members were terminated and that they have revamped their SNS accounts to include the 'Coco Mademoiselle' dance team, some of whom will become official members of the next generation of CoCo, hence Youngchae was no longer a member of CoCo, but remained a member of 'Coco Mademoiselle'.[3]
In October 2021, Youngchae appear as a contestant on the competitive reality show, Kookmin Singer.[4][5] She was eventually eliminated from the competition. Following her appearance on the show, she joined n.CH Entertainment as a trainee.[6]
She later went onto making a guest appearance in episode 4 of TV Chosun's television show, Tuesday is a Good Night.[7][8] She was also casted in the 2022 television variety show, Yellow Flower School.[9][10]
