Ruru (루루) is a South Korean singer and model. She is a former member of the girl group TREN-D.
Career
Ruru made her debut as an idol on October 2, 2013 as the leader and a lead vocal of the girl group TREN-D with their digital single "Candy Boy". The girl group released 3 singles and a repackaged album before their disbandment in 2016.
Ruru then went onto modelling for shopping malls and found success. She rose to prominent popularity under the name 'Kang Taeri' as a model for the women's brand, Chuu, and later became the face of the brand. She has since then had success as a model outside of Korea in Taiwan and Japan, and continues on as a model to this day.
