Composition[]

"Dress" is a house genre song that depicts emotions. Using glitchy sounds, sophisticated pluck bass, and pad sounds, the song moves as if moving between dry and grand spaces, declaring absolute love and willing to do anything for the one she loves, conveying a bold yet pure confession of love.[2]

"Inside Out" is about trying to accept the reality by pretending nothing is wrong before a breakup, but admitting your true feelings of wanting to be with the other person and telling the person who is waiting for you. It is a Chill House genre song that depicts the speaker running. This song features lyrics that delicately describe the movement of complex emotions, and the vocals of the five members of NU'EST who convey their emotions in detail and the minimal track combine to further increase the sense of immersion in the lyrics with an emphasis on narrative.[2]

"Don't Wanna Go", which mournfully expresses the sadness of not being able to picture one's life without a lover after a breakup and the desire to somehow be with the other person again, emphasizes the meaning of the song as the guitar progression that breaks away from the existing framework captivates the introduction. can be fully felt.[2]

The moment when one becomes intoxicated and experiences a new world is expressed in the color ‘black’. Like the message coming from the lyrics, 'It's about combining all colors,' it presents a sense of organized unity within the framework of hip-hop and NeoSoul, with grooved rhythms, addictive melody riffs, and classic progressions.[2]

"Drive" is the Korean version of the title song of the Japanese regular album released in October last year. It is an electro-pop genre song with rhythmic guitar playing and a strong yet soft theme. Through the song, you can enjoy a romantic yet cool atmosphere, like enjoying a drive with NU'EST, while revealing the pure love that you can go on a journey without a destination at any time with the person you love.[2]

"Earphone", which expresses Minhyun's sensibility of listening to one's heart in a favorite song and considering midnight contemplation as a romantic moment, features a lo-fi sound based on pop R&B. The gently playing EP sound and guitar give a feeling of languor and comfort.[2]

"Need It" captures Baekho's sentiments that romanticize the process of reaching one's goal, even though there may be trial and error and pain. It is a 6/8 beat URBAN SOUL genre with an attractive and mysterious intro and Baekho's explosive singing ability. The tight drum groove and organ sound in the chorus make the song more colorful and create fantastic harmony with Baekho's voice.[2]

"Doom Doom", a reinterpretation of JR who finds romance in the search for a better, newer self, is an Electro House genre song based on a powerful synth bass. As the song unfolds, the composition with a beat that becomes more intense catches the ear.[2]

"Rocket Rocket" is a song that expresses the dynamic romance of Ren, who always burns his passion to show explosive energy on stage, in the Synth POP genre, a combination of retro bass and synth. You can feel the powerfulness of the song in the chorus, where the Synth Disco beat and intense synth sizing stand out.[2]

"I'm Not" is a song that reflects the delicate emotions of Aron, who romanticizes the process of creating himself in NU'EST. It is a song that stands out with its strong modern rock-based rhythm, dreamy guitar theme, and emotional melody. The rising development and emotionally stimulating chorus melody harmonize with Aron's appealing voice.[2]
