Romance : Untold (stylized in all-caps) is the second full-length album by ENHYPEN. It was released on July 12, 2024 with "XO (Only If You Say Yes)" serving as the album's title track.
A repackage titled Romance : Untold -Daydream- was released on November 11, 2024.
The physical album comes in 12 versions: Inceptio, Arcanum, Concessio, seven individual Engene versions, Weverse and vinyl.
Background[]
On May 14, 2024, STARNEWS reported that ENHYPEN will be releasing a new album on July 12. Belift Lab confirmed the reports hours later.[1] On June 17, they released a logo motion video for their second full-length album Romance : Untold.[2]
"XO (Only If You Say Yes)" was used as part of the soundtrack for the Netflix television series XO, Kitty Season 2.[3]
Commercial performance[]
According to CJ ENM, by July 11, Romance : Untold has surpassed 2.2 million stock pre-orders.[4]
According to Hanteo Chart, Romance : Untold sold 1,883,143 copies on its first day of sales, breaking the group's previous first-week sales record in a single day.[5] By July 17, it surpassed 2.1 million copies sold.[6] Romance : Untold sold 2,344,749 copies in its first week of release, making it the group's first album to surpass 2 million sales within its first week.[7]
Romance : Untold reached #1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 10 regions, while "XO (Only If You Say Yes)" hit #1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 10 regions.[5]
Romance : Untold debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.[8] It spent ten consecutive weeks on the chart,[9] and 18 non consecutive weeks on the chart.[10]
Romance : Untold was ranked #12 on the 2024 Billboard Japan's Hot Album Year End chart.[11]
Romance : Untold was ranked #8 on the 2024 U.S Top Album Sales chart and #3 on the 2024 U.S. Top CD Album Sales chart.[12]
On February 18, 2025, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry announced that Romance : Untold was ranked #2 on their Global Album Chart 2024.[13]
