Rocky (라키) is a South Korean singer, rapper and dancer under his own label, ONE FINE DAY Entertainment. He is a former member of the boy group ASTRO and its sub-unit JinJin & Rocky.
He was also a member of the fictional project group X-PIERS under the name Hwi Yeon (휘연).
He made his solo debut on November 22, 2023 with his first mini album Rockyst.
Career[]
2016: Debut with ASTRO[]
He debuted as a member of ASTRO on February 23, 2016 with the mini album Spring Up.
2022: Debut with JinJin & Rocky[]
On December 27, 2021, Fantagio announced that the group's second sub-unit, JinJin & Rocky, will be debuting on January 17, 2022 with their first mini album Restore.[1]
2023: Departure from ASTRO and Fantagio, establishment of ONE FINE DAY Entertainment and solo debut[]
On February 28, 2023, it was announced that Rocky had left ASTRO and Fantagio after deciding to not renew his contract with them.[2]
On October 26, it was revealed that Rocky established his own agency, ONE FINE DAY Entertainment, back in August and is set to make his solo debut sometime in late November.[3] On November 6, it was confirmed that his debut mini album Rockyst would be released on November 22.[4]
2024: Blank[]
On June 14, 2024, pre-orders for the second mini album Blank opened. It will be released on June 27.[5]

Education[]
On February 9, 2018, he graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School, Seoul where he was a student of the Practical Music Department.[6]
Relationship[]
On October 31, 2022, Fantagio confirmed that he and actress Park Bo-yeon are dating, although her agency Management KOO commented that they are just close acquaintances.[7]
