Rei (Korean: 레이; Japanese: レイ) is a Japanese rapper and singer under Starship Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group IVE.
Career[]
2021: Debut with IVE[]
On November 6, 2021, Rei was revealed as the fifth member of IVE.[3] The group debuted on December 1, 2021 with the single album "Eleven".

Education[]
On February 10, 2022, Rei officially graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA), where she had been a student of the Applied Music Department.[4]
Health[]
On April 11, 2023, Starship Entertainment released a statement stating that Rei will be taking a break from schedules due to health reasons related to abnormal symptoms such as heart palpitations and stuffiness. They added that after visiting a hospital it was recommend for her to focus on rest and recovery for her health.[5] On May 26, Starship released an update and stated that Rei will be returning to group activities.[6]
