Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi (레드벨벳-아이린&슬기) is the first sub-unit of Red Velvet, consisting of Irene and Seulgi. They debuted on July 6, 2020, with the mini album Monster.

Their debut was postponed from June 15 to July 6, 2020, on the grounds that it needed additional production on the album, in order to achieve a higher quality of music.^[1]
