They presumably disbanded in 2018.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On April 15, 2016, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced plans for a Korean live-action drama adaptation of The Idolmaster, carried out by Interactive Media Mix.[1] The same month, they opened an audition for the drama on the 25th, accepting candidates from all around the world, as well as a public voting on the 29th.[2][3]
On May 14, the first public voting concluded with 20 candidates advancing to the next audition.[4] Among these candidates, 19 girls were selected for training and divided into two teams: A Team (Mint, Yukika, Yejin, Jihee, Hyunmi, Sori, Yoohyeon, Joungjoo, Yeseul, Youngjoo)[5] and B Team (Coco, Suji, Jeewon, Nayoung, Haseo, Mayu, Yeeun, Jane).[6]
On June 7, the top 14 candidates (Youngjoo, Suji, Jane, Yukika, Mint, Coco, Joungjoo, Sori, Haseo, Jeewon, Hyunmi, Yeseul, Yeeun and Nayoung) were selected for the final training camp.[7] The same month on the 15th, Taeri and Hana Byul were added to the list of candidates.[8][9]
2016: Debut with "Dream", lineup change[]
On August 25, 2016, the group announced their finalized ten-member lineup, consisting of Youngjoo, Suji, Jane, Yukika, Mint, Sori, Haseo, Jeewon, Yeeun and Hana Byul, and made their debut with the digital single "Dream".
On October 13, Hana Byul officially left the group due to a leg injury and was replaced by Jiseul.[10]
2017: B-Side, first concert in Japan, THE IDOLM@STER.KR, "Ping Pong Game", MIXNINE and The Unit[]
On March 31, 2017, the group's sub-unit B-Side, consisting of Sori, Yukika, Jeewon, Yeeun and Jiseul, made their debut with "THE IDOLM@STER".[11]
On April 11, the group held their first solo concert in Japan. On the 28th of the same month, their drama series The IDOLM@STER.KR started airing on SBS Plus.[12]
On August 4, the group returned with "Ping Pong Game". Only five members participated in this comeback: Yeeun, Sori, Yukika, Jeewon and Suji.[13]
On October 6, the final episode of THE IDOLM@STER.KR aired and the group announced plans for two fanmeeting events in Japan (November 3, 2017) and Korea (November 11, 2017).[14]
In October, Youngjoo, Jeeun, Yukika, Sori participated in MIXNINE, while Haseo, Mint and Suji participated in The Unit.[15] Sori made it to the final top 9 of MIXNINE but couldn't debut because the male team won, while Suji made it to top 9 of The Unit and debuted as a member of UNI.T.[16][17]
