Raina (레이나) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under AER MUSIC. She is a member of the girl group After School, its sub-unit Orange Caramel and a former member of A.S. BLUE.
She made her solo debut on October 8, 2014 with the digital single "Reset".
Career[]
2009–2019: After School, Orange Caramel, solo debut[]
Following Soyoung's departure on October 29, 2009, Raina, alongside Nana, were announced as the newest members of After School.[2] They made their official debut with the group on November 25 with the single "Because of You".
Raina made her debut as a member of After School's first sub-unit Orange Caramel on June 17, 2010 with their first mini album.
She made her solo debut on October 8, 2014 with the digital single "Reset".
On December 27, 2019, Pledis Entertainment announced Raina would be leaving After School, Orange Caramel and the agency following the expiration of her contract.[3]
2020: Miss Back[]
On September 3, 2020, Raina was announced as a participant in the MBN variety show Miss Back, which will follow "a group of female singers who made their debut in idol groups but are slowly being forgotten in the minds of the public." The show premiered in October.[4]
2021: New agency[]
On December 4, 2021, AER MUSIC announced that Raina had signed on with the agency.[5]
