- The single was first teased on August 25, 2020, when Galantis, on Twitter, suggested collaborating on a song, to which Jackson answered with “pretty please?”. A few days later, the words were revealed to be the title of the already finished collaboration.[1]
- The actress that appears in "Pretty Please" also appears in "100 Ways".
- "Pretty Please" was choreographed by the dance crew The Kinjaz.[2]
- The music video was inspired by classic Hong Kong movies of the 1990s.
