Pretty (프리티) is a eight-member girl group under Rainbow E&M. They debuted on April 20, 2022 with the digital single "Dear U".
They are the 13th group created under the Future Idol Asia project.[1]
History[]
2021–present: Debut with "Dear U"[]
In 2020, Rainbow Company (later known as Rainbow E&M) created Future Idol, an idol development project for the purpose of debuting various project idol groups throughout 2021 through its project, known as 'Future Idol Asia'. Though still unannounced by the project, Pretty was formed as a group sometime in mid-2021 and then opened an Instagram account.[2]
The group's initial ten-member lineup consisted of Minjin, Taegyeom, Seoeun, Yunhye, Seoyun, Chaeyeon, Hyeyeon, Yeju, Siu, and Chaeyun. However, Seoeun, Hyeyeon, and Chaeyun left sometime in 2021. Seoyeong was added presumably before their debut.
They debuted on April 20, 2022 with the digital single "Dear U".
