Prelude of Anxiety Chapter 1. '21st Century Boys' (불안의 서 챕터 1. '21세기 소년들') is the third EP by EPEX. It was released on April 11, 2022 with "Anthem of Teen Spirit" serving as the album's title track.

The physical album comes in two versions: Chase and Flee.

Upon its release, people noted the use of the phrase "Crystal Night" (수정 속의 밤) in their title track "Anthem of Teen Spirit". As it is known as a pogrom that was carried against Jews in Nazi Germany named "Kristallnacht" in German, fans are asking the company and songwriters to acknowledge their insensitivity and apologize. On April 13, 2022, C9 posted a statement explaining that the song was inspired by George Orwell's book 1984 and apologized for "not paying attention to the use of controversial content" and took full responsibility for it. They then went on to say that they have changed the lyrics and have already rerecorded it and will register it with music companies as soon as possible.^[1]^[2]
