Pink Tape is the second full-length album by f(x). It was released on July 29, 2013, marking the group's first Korean release since 2012's Electric Shock.
Background
"Rum Pum Pum Pum"'s lyrics compares first love to a wisdom tooth that grows and push the other teeth aside.[1]
The visuals of the album won a 2014 Red Dot Award for music packaging. The album's concept, from the title "Pink Tape", the Art Film released prior to the album, the VHS-type packaging to the music, is supposed to constitute a romantic movie starring f(x).[2]
Reception
In 2013, the album sold 81,825 copies in South Korea, making it the 28 biggest-selling album of the year in the country.[3]

Trivia
- The song "No Love" was initally composed by American singer Ariana Grande for her first album Yours Truly, under the name "Boyfriend Material". The song did not make the final tracklist of her album, and executives from her label then sold the rights to the song to SM Entertainment. Korean singer Dana rewrote the lyrics in Korean for f(x).[4]
- Amber has self-composed the track "Goodbye Summer", initially with English lyrics; South Korean composer Kim Young-Hoo wrote all-new Korean lyrics for the song. Amber recorded another version of the song "Goodbye Summer" for her debut mini-album Beautiful, under the name "I Just Wanna". This version is entirely in English and features the original lyrics Amber wrote for the song. It also features singer Eric Nam.
