Peernine (피어나인) was a three-member girl group under Escrow Entertainment. They made their debut on May 5, 2013 with the digital single "Wake Up".

The group presumably disbanded in 2014.

Their group name in Korean means "blooming person".

History[]

Pre-debut[]

On April 30, 2013, Peernine released their pre-debut digital single, "옷 한벌 해준적 없어도".[1][2] The lineup consisted of Sohee, Eunbi and Hwajin.

2013-2014: Debut with "Wake Up" and disbandment[]

Peernine made their official debut as a vocal girl group on May 5, 2013 with the digital single "Wake Up".[3]

In 2014, the group presumably disbanded due to inactivity.

Aftermath[]

Following the disbandment of Peernine, all the members went their separate ways:

  • Eunbi resumed her work as beauty queen by participating in the 2014 Miss Korea Gyeongbuk beauty competition and was the Sun runner-up winning contestant.[4][5] She later also competed in the 2014 Miss Korea beauty competition but did not win.[6] After 2014, she did not compete in any more beauty competitions.
    • In January 2015, she was introduced as a second generation member of K-Girls under the stage name HyoIn and later debut with them on May 13, 2015 to release the digital single "Queen". Unfortunately, K-Girls disbanded the same year.

The circumstances of the other members are still currently unknown.
