Park Jung Ah (박정아; or simply Jung Ah) is a South Korean singer and actress under Inyeon Entertainment. She is a former member of the girl group Jewelry and the project group Mamadol.
She made her solo debut on August 25, 2006 with the studio album Yeah.
Career[]
2001–2009: Jewelry and solo debut[]
On March 30, 2001, Jung Ah debuted as a member of Jewelry with the release of their first studio album First Discovery.
On August 25, 2006, she made her solo debut with the release of her studio album Yeah.
In December of 2009, Jung Ah was revealed to have left the group.[1]
2013: Agency changes[]
In May 2013, Jung Ah announced that she would be leaving Star Empire Entertainment and had signed under WM Company.[2]
2021–present: Mama The Idol, Mamadol[]
On December 10, 2021, the first episode of Mama The Idol aired, where she was revealed as the first participant.[3] She then debuted with the group Mamadol on January 28, 2022 with the release of their single "Mama The Idol", which included the song called "WooAh Hip". Unfortunately, the group then disbanded on February 4 following the airing of the final episode.

Around May 2013, it was revealed that Jung Ah had thyroid cancer and proceeded to go under surgery, although it was not necessary, for future activities.[2]
Relationship & family[]
Jung Ah began dating professional golfer, Jeon Sang-woo in 2015 and after a year and a half of dating, Jung Ah's agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, confirmed in May 2016 that the couple will be getting married.[4] The two married on May 15, 2016, in a ceremony in Gangnam, Seoul.[5][6] Two years later, on September 5, 2018, it was revealed that Jung Ah was pregnant with her first child.[7] On March 8, 2019, it was confirmed by her agency that she had given birth to a healthy child, daughter Jeon Ayoon.[8]
