Park Hyeon Jin (박현진) is a South Korean rapper under H1GHR Music. He was a member of the project boy group OG SCHOOL PROJECT.
He made his solo debut on April 13, 2022 with the digital single "____Fect".
Career[]
2016–2018: K-pop Star 6 and OG SCHOOL PROJECT[]
From December 2016 to April 2017, Hyeon Jin participated in the competition show K-pop Star 6 and won as part of the duo, Boyfriend, with Jongseob. Following the show's conclusion, the duo signed a trainee contract with YG Entertainment.[1] However Hyunjin left the agency shortly after due to differences in musical style while Jongseob would continue on as a trainee.[2]
On November 28, 2017, it was confirmed that three trainees, including Hyeon Jin, will be coming together for a collaboration to be released in December as the OG SCHOOL PROJECT.[3] However, due to the passing of Jonghyun on December 18, they had decided to delay their debut to January 5 from the original date of December 20.[4] The group then made their debut with their first and only digital single "OGZ" on January 5, 2018.
2022: Solo debut[]
On April 8, 2022, H1GHR Music announced that they would be revealing a new artist under H1GHR.[5] On April 11, he was officially introduced as the newest artist under H1GHR Music.[6] He then made his solo debut on April 13 with the digital single "____Fect".
