Palmtree Island (팜트리아일랜드) is a South Korean management agency. The company specializes in managing musical actors and actresses.

History[]

2021: Establishment, first artists[]

Palmtree Island was first established by Kim Jun Su with his longtime manager in 2021 as a one-man agency, after his departure from C-JeS Entertainment.[2]

On December 3, 2021, the agency started expanding by signing its first musical actresses, Jeong Sun Ah.[3] On the same day, it was reported that former Lovelyz member Kei has signed an exclusive contract with Palmtree Island after leaving Woollim Entertainment.[4]

Another musical actress, Kim So Hyun, joined the agency on December 28.[5]

2022: New artists[]

On January 5, 2022, musical actor Jin Tae Hwa joined the agency's artist line-up.[6]

On January 10, Kei officially joined Palmtree Island as a musical actress.[7] Another musical actress, Yang Seo Yoon, was also introduced as the agency's new artist on the same day.[8]

On September 27, 2022, Palmtree Island announced that Kei would be leaving the agency after nine months at the end of the month.[9]
