On March 13, 2023, it was revealed that Chae Yeon will be releasing a new album on April 12.

On March 22, it was announced that Lee Chae Yeon will be releasing her second mini album, Over The Moon, on April 12.

Commercial performance

On April 20, Circle Chart reported that Over The Moon sold 23,354 copies during the week of April 9 to April 15. The album debuted at #9 on the weekly chart.
