Oh Seung Ah (오승아; also known simply as Seungah) is a South Korean singer and actress currently under MADA Entertainment. She is a former member of the girl group Rainbow and its sub-units Rainbow Blaxx and Rainbow Pixie.

Career

2009–2016: Rainbow, sub-units

She debuted as a member of Rainbow on November 12, 2009 with the group's first mini album Gossip Girl.

On January 12, 2012, she debuted as a member of the group's first sub-unit, Rainbow Pixie.

Seungah debuted as a member of Rainbow's second sub-unit, Rainbow Blaxx, on January 20, 2014.

On October 28, 2016, DSP Media announced that Rainbow would be disbanding after seven years of activities after all of the members decided not to renew their contracts with the agency.[1]

2016–present: New agency, 10th anniversary

Following her departure from DSP Media and Rainbow's disbandment, Seungah signed on with MADA Entertainment.[citation needed]

In 2019, Rainbow reformed to celebrate their tenth-anniversary since debut with the special single album "Over the Rainbow".[2]
