ONLEE (온리), also known by his full name Lee Seunghwan (이승환) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under Inyeon Entertainment and AllBlue Records. He is a former member of the project group 1THE9 and trainee group PlayM BOYS.

He made his solo debut on September 9, 2023 with the digital single "Be With You!".

He is best known for being a contestant on the reality survival shows Under Nineteen, LOUD, Sing For Gold and Boys Planet.

Career[]

2018–2020: Under Nineteen and 1THE9, departure from PlayM BOYS and Play M Entertainment[]

On October 25, 2018, ONLEE, then known by his real name Lee Seung Hwan, was introduced as a contestant of Under Nineteen with his moving poster. The poster revealed that he was a part of the performance team.[1] He finished in eighth place, thus becoming a member of the project group 1THE9.[2]

On April 13, 2019, the group officially debuted with the mini album XIX. 1THE9 officially disbanded on August 8, 2020, following the release of their final mini album Good Bye 1THE9.

On November 16, 2020, Play M announced that he and Jung Jin Sung had departed from PlayM BOYS and the agency after their exclusive contracts ended.[3]

2021–2022: LOUD, dancing endeavors, Boys Planet[]

On May 20, 2021, he was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD.[4] Unfortunately, he was eliminated during the first round and was unable to move on.[5]

In February 2022, Lee Seung Hwan was seen as a backup dancer for ONEUS's US tour 2022 ONEUS Tour "Blood Moon".[6]

On December 29, 2022, he was then officially introduced as a contestant for Boys Planet.[7] The first episode aired on February 2, 2023. On April 13, he was eliminated in episode 11 after ranking 24th place.[8]

2023: New agency, solo debut with "Be With You!", Switch On[]

On August 29, Inyeon Entertainment and AllBlue Records announced that Lee Seung Hwan has signed with them, and will go by the stage name ONLEE.[9][10]

On September 5, it was announced that he will make his solo debut on September 9 with the digital single "Be With You!".[11]

On November 15, it was announced that he will release his first mini album Switch On on November 27.[12]

2024: "Spi-cy", "Love Algorithm", "Sunshine, Shy, Pretty Girl", Turn On[]

On February 9, ONLEE announced his second digital single "Spi-cy", set to be released on February 12.[13]

On April 3, ONLEE unveiled the music video teaser for his third digital single "Love Algorithm", set to be released on April 5.[14]

On July 30, ONLEE unveiled the pre-release digital single "Sunshine, Shy, Pretty Girl", set to be released on August 2.[15]

On September 10, it was announced that he will release his second mini album Turn On on September 24.[16]
