Nien (Korean: 니엔; Chinese: 念; Japanese: ニエン) is a Taiwanese-Vietnamese singer under MODHAUS. She is a member of the girl group tripleS and its sub-units LOVElution, Aria and Visionary Vision.
She is also known for being a contestant on the reality survival show Girls Planet 999.
Career[]
2021: Girls Planet 999[]
On July 7, 2021, Nientzu was confirmed as a upcoming contestant on Mnet's upcoming South Korean reality show, Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[1] Her official profile was released on July 18.[2][3] In the eighth episode, which was aired on September 24, it was revealed that Nientzu was unfortunately eliminated.[4]
2023–present: tripleS[]
On March 20, 2023, Hsu Nientsu was revealed as the thirteenth member of the girl group tripleS. She will be going by stage name Nien (니엔) henceforth.[5]
On April 28, it was announced that Nien had been placed in LOVElution.[6]
On November 24, it was announced that Nien had been placed in Aria.[7]
She made her debut as a tripleS member on May 8, 2024 with the album Assemble24.
On June 18, 2024, it was announced that Nien had been placed in Visionary Vision.[8]
